History and Present
Dyna D, previously known as Van Heerden Drilling, has been in the drilling business for over 20 years. We have been involved in surface and exploration drilling since 1991 and is capable to install 89mm to 300mm boreholes.
We started with opencast drilling in 1997 and after the establishment of Dyna Drilling cc (Dyna D) in 2000 we explored the possibilities in drilling, blasting and drill rig manufacturing.
As a growing company we realise the increasing need for deeper, larger diameter holes and mass production in the opencast mining industry. We are actively involved with numerous mine groups in our region and have done extensive drilling, blasting and manufacturing work for them, that includes:
- Drill rig manufacturing
- Opencast drilling and blasting
- DTH exploration drilling
- Water monitoring boreholes
- Sanitary sealed boreholes
- Refuge bays boreholes
- Water boreholes
Installation material includes:
- PVC-, HDPE-, Steel- and Stainless steel surfaces casing (to seal off possible contaminated upper aquifers from deeper clean aquifers)
- Surface to bottom casing installation
- Sanitary seals
- Gravel and cement packing
- Manholes
- Lockable casing caps
- Borehole pumps
